Rhemi, his wife (Na) and uncle Wong came over to visit us all the way from Santa Rosa, 12 hours drive. Jauh tu! Took them to the Bourneville Dam and fish hatchery. Hmm Rhemi mesti terfikir, I drove all the way from California just to be shown some fish? Relax la bro. Aku ketandusan ide nak bawa jalan-jalan.

To take advantage of the Memorial Day, we decided to drive down to S. Fransisco. I did 100% of 12 hours driving down to Santa Rosa (we all lepak at Rhemi's place, Rhemi, thanks!) as well as up back to Hillsboro. This was my first experience driving over long distance over 5 hours. I will probably not do it again! Letih siut! Brought Ina and Aniq to the standard touristy places like the Golden Gate Bridge, Coit Tower and etc. I don't have much to say for this trip (I still have not recovered from the long trip...), do enjoy the pix though.

Oregon pacific coast

All pictures were taken in March'05. We decided to drive west to Tillamook and go the Three Arch Rocks. First stop was the Cape Mareas Lighthouse, the lighthouse that overlooks the Pacific ocean. No sightings of whales nor sea lions from here around this time of the year. The cliff view from the Cape Mareas was spectacular. I just wished I have a fish-eye lense to squeeze more of the scenic view . Next was a short detour to the nice little town called Oceanside for a cup of Cappucino. We then drove another an hour or so towards Cape Lookout. It's another one of the many nice national parks in Oregon. Enjoy the pix.
